What is RECOVIB Tiny and what is it used for?

RECOVIB Tiny is a compact 3-axis shock and vibration data logger designed for quick and efficient vibration diagnostics. It is widely used in automotive testing, structural analysis, machinery monitoring, and field vibration studies where portability and ease of deployment are critical.

RECOVIB Tiny stands out due to its ultra-compact size, wireless operation, and synchronized multi-sensor capability. Multiple units can be deployed simultaneously and synchronized (up to millisecond level), enabling modal analysis and operational deflection shape (ODS) studies on large structures like bridges or vehicles.

The device measures vibration and shock in three axes (X, Y, Z) with:

  • Sampling rate up to ~1024 samples/sec per channel
  • Measurement ranges: ±2g, ±6g, ±15g, ±200g
  • Frequency bandwidth up to ~250 Hz

It can also derive velocity and displacement from acceleration data for deeper analysis.

Data is recorded internally (up to several hours) and analyzed using:

  • RECOVIB Suite software (PC) for configuration, visualization, FFT analysis, and export
  • Mobile app support for setup, download, and quick analysis

The software allows time-domain, frequency-domain (FFT), filtering, and statistical analysis, making it suitable for engineering diagnostics.
