Real-Time 1/3 Octave Band Analysis

Analyzing a sound source by frequency basis is really time-consuming, this is where one-third of octave bands make the difference. ST15D applies 1/3 octave band analysis.

The 1/3 octave analysis is carried out using real-time band-pass filtering with decimation technique. This allows complex sound to be split into smaller sections or bands which then produce detailed filter shapes to accurately specify noise source.

Locate Noise Source with GPS

Measure sound level, detect sound frequency spectrum in real time, and locate the source of sound from one device.

The integrated GPS shows start and end-point of sound location details.

Smart Software for Sound Data Management

Monitor real-time noise measurement data and export historical data for further analysis on your computer using Scarlet Sound software.

ScarletSound software is Windows PC-compatible. Install software on the computer and connect ST-15D to computer via USB cable.
